The Cochin University of Science And Technology Common Admission Test
Established as the University of Cochin in 1971, the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) offers higher education in the fields of applied science, technology, industry and commerce, emphasizing particularly on post-graduate studies and research. CUSAT allows admissions to international students and has academic collaborations and exchange program tie-ups with several international universities and institutions as well. Its partners are spread across Africa, Canada, Europe, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, USA and Vietnam.
With a 180-acre campus at Thrikkakara, a Lakeside campus at Kochi, and an Engineering College campus at Pulinkunnu, Alappuzha, CUSAT has been judged by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India as an institution worthy of being upgraded to the level of IIT. The modification work required to make CUSAT part of the new-breed Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) is on.
