Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (APJEE) 2019 is an entrance exam conducted for admission in Degree (PCB) and Diploma courses by APSCTE (Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education) which is an autonomous body.

For Degree courses, the timing of exam is 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. The exam for Diploma courses will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

APJEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Students are eligible to take Arunachal Pradesh JEE exam only if they are children of either APST or non-APST employees of Central Government, State Government, and Central public undertakings. Students who have been living in Arunachal Pradesh for last 3 years and have appeared or passed the X/XII exams from any schools of the State are also eligible for the exam.

Candidate must be between 15-18 years of age.

Degree Courses

Has passed or giving the exam of Class XII in Science stream from a university/board recognized by government.

Candidate must be between 17-21 years of age.

APJEE 2019 Syllabus

For Degree courses, exam will be based on the syllabus of Class XI and XII as prescribed by CBSE while for the Diploma courses, the exam syllabus will be same as the CBSE syllabi of Class IX and X.

Application Procedure for APJEE 2019

Last day to submit the application form for APJEE 2019 is May, 2019. You can apply online for the exam.

APJEE 2019 Exam Pattern

The medium of the questions papers will be English. For Degree courses, the questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology whereas for Diploma courses, questions will be based on Mathematics and Science.

In both KLEU AIET 2019 exams, question paper will be of 600 marks each. There will be multiple choice questions (MCQs). Out of 4 given options, only one will be correct. Candidate has to mark the correct one. There is negative marking in the exam. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be given and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

APJEE 2019 Result

On the basis of performance of candidates in the exam, APJEE 2019 merit list will be published which will be different for Degree and Diploma courses. In case of a tie, those who secured more marks in qualifying exam will be considered first.

Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam (APJEE) 2019 Counselling Procedure

Date of counselling will be published in the official website and the local dailies of the State. On the basis of merit list, the seats will be allotted. During the filling of Application form, whatever choice of discipline is filled, it will be considered as final.

Candidates are advised to bring the following documents with 3 sets of photocopies which are attested by a Gazetted Officer at the time of counselling and allotment of seats:

  • Certificate of reservation (SC/ST) if any

  • Pass certificate of qualifying examination

  • Mark Sheet of Qualifying examination

  • Class X pass certificate

  • Transfer certificate or school leaving certificate

  • Migration certificate

  • Character certificate from last school attended

  • Permanent Residential certificate

  • Admit Card of APJEE

  • Medical fitness certificate

  • Parents’ Employment Certificate from the appointing authority or Domicile Certificate issued by First Class Magistrate during 2019 for Category-II.

APJEE 2019 Examination Day Tips

  • On the day of the examination, candidate must reach the centre of examination at least 30 minutes before the start of exam. They should not reach the exam centre later than 15 minutes before the exam.

  • APJEE 2019 is a pen-and-paper based exam. He/she has to bring his/her own Ball Point Pen.

  • Don't forget to carry the Admit Card.

  • Candidates will be provided with OMR sheet and Test Booklet and they have to mark the correct answers on OMR sheet with Ball Point Pen by darkening the correct bubble.
