Dear aditya

It can be found using Definite integral. If you know the corresponding limits of x and y then you can find the area.

refer the chapter Area under the curves in integration book

All the best.

What’s the Geometrical interpretation of integrals? And what’s the physical significance of C?
Geometrical interpretation of indefinite integral Let f (x) = 2x. Then ∫ f (x) dx = x 2 + C. For different values of C, we get different integrals. But these integrals are very similar...

Setting log x = t, we can rewrite the integral as which by the formula for integration of e x [f(x)+f’(x)] is simply e x f(x) and hence is e t / 1+t i.e. x/(1+log x)

In what does the x-axis divides the line segement joining the points (2,-3) and (5,6)
Eqn. of linee joining these two points is: (y – 6) = ((-3-6)/(2-5))(x – 5) y – 6 = (-9/-3)(x – 5) y – 6 = 3x – 15 y = 3x – 9 when y = 0 3x = 9 x = 3 at x = 3 it cuts the x – axis.

examine continuity and differentiability of f(x)at x=0 where f(x)=xcos(1/x),x is not equal to 0 and f(x)=0 ,x=0
PFA For differentiability follow same steps applying f(x+h)-f(x)/h for RDH and f(x-h) – f(x)/-h applying the limits.
