IIT-JEE 2011 Notification

Important Details

The notification for IIT-JEE 2011 has been issued by the organizing chairman, IIT Madras. Following are some of the important details regarding the exam.

The examination will be of a single stage, comprising of two papers.

Pattern:

Each of the paper 1 and paper 2 will have three different sections on Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The papers will have objective type questions to test the comprehension, reasoning and analytical abilities of the candidates. The entire syllabus for the examination is available on the websites of all the IITs.

Schedule of the Examination:

Date: 10th April, 2011 (Sunday)

Paper 1: 9:00 – 12:00 Hrs

Paper 2: 14:00 – 17:00 Hrs

Application:

Candidates can apply for the exam either through the on-line application process or through off-line.

(a) On-line application process-

From (Mon.) Nov. 01st 2010 to (Wed.) Dec. 15th 2010.

(b) Off- line sale of application forms-

From (Fri.) Nov. 12th 2010 to (Wed.) Dec. 15th 2010.

Last date for the receipt of the duly completed application forms (printed copies of on-line application/ off- line) at the IITs is (Mon.) Dec. 20th 2010.
