A sonometer is an apparatus made of a hollow box having two holes.A sonometer is a diagnostic instrument used to measure the tension, frequency or density of vibrations.
the holes in a sonometre makes sur that inside air remains in communication with outer ear so we can hear the sound.

how can you say that sound is generated in wooden box.if it is possible how the sound genetated in it by making distribance on it with fork
