An acid–base titration is the determination of the concentration of an acid or base by exactly neutralizing the acid or base with an acid or base of known concentration.

It uses molarilty equation to determine the strength of acid/base depending on experiment as strength of one solution is known against which we perform titration and noticing the color change as the neutralizing is taking place quantitative analysis is done.

Acid–base titrations can also be used to find percent purity of chemicals.
