P-orbital is an outcome of azimuthal quantum number if principal quantum number is greater than 1.
If n>= 2 then we will be having p orbital.
It has orientaton along x,y and z axis which is represented as Px,Py,Pz.number of electron in each orbital is 2.Therefore total number of electron in p-orbital is =2+2+2 =6

p-orbital is dumb-bell shaped orbital. It is of three types-
1.px – Both lobes pointing towards x-axis.
2. py – Both lobes pointing towards y-axis.
3. pz – Both lobes pointing towards z-axis.
According to Pauli’s exclusion principle-- Each orbital can have maximum of 2 electrons, both of opposite spin. Thus three p-orbitals can accomodate maximum of 2 electrons, thus comprising total of 6 electrons. So no. of electrons in p-orbital will be 6.
