100 gm of metal carbonate will contain 28.57 gm of metal So, 1 gm of carbonate will have = 28.57/100 =0.285 gm of metalNow, as earlier it has ben said that 1 gm of metal forms 1.67 gm of metal oxideSo, 0.285 gm of metal will form =1.67 x 0.285 = 0.475 gm of metal oxide
