Plaster of Paris is hemihydrate of gypsum obtained by heating gypsum (caso4.2h2o) +heat>>caso4.1/2 H20(pop)
 
USES
-it is used in white plastering of walls or for purpose of of designing on  ceilings 
-Used for making of plasture bands to heal broken bones
 
Properties
-very tough 
-deliquescent
