the bond formed by sp hybridised orbital is more strong (i.e. more bond energy) as compared to sp^3 hybridised orbital but acoording to inert pair effect more the s character in an orbital less must be the bond energy. how this is so?

sp hybridized orbitals compounds have triple bond unstauration b/w them.
And hen ce to break the ond one has to break first the sigma then pi bonds which consumes lots of enrgy and the process becomes exortic endothermic.
Hence hre U cannot apply the concept of inert pair effect.
It is for Noble gases.
