Dear Student,
After collision the ball returns back to the ground means the ball must have half way travelled and the wall is exactly at R/2 or can be more.
Assuming it at R/2.
The time it would take to reach is t.
t is the time taken for the projectile to complete its motion had the wall not been there.
So t=2ucosq/g
=>t=2vcos(90-q)/g
=>t=2vsinq/g
