Hi,
the coefficient of linear expansion for brass is alpha 0
the coefficient of linear expansion for aluminum is 1.2 alpha 0;      take theta =t)
l of cu=L     and l of al= 0.8 L           gap will be closed onlw when the increase of length of Cu and Al compensates it
so the gap equals d
so d= L(alpha 0)(delta T)+ 0.8L( 1.2 alpha 0)(delta T)      ….............(delta l= l* coeff. of linear exp. * dlta t)
    d= L *alpha 0 *(delta T)  *1.96
now,
delta T=d/( L *alpha 0 *(delta T) *1.96
so,
final temperature= T + delta T
                         =T+d/( L *alpha 0 *(delta T) *1.96
hence, option 1 is correct
approve it if you find it correct ,...to confirm me
BEST OF LUCK!!!
