Draw free body diagram.there are three forces invloved.                                                   1)force of gravity along centre (mg).                                                                                    2)friction force (f) acting up the incline plane between contact surfaces.                         3)normal force (N)  (not through the centre ), LETS SEE WHY.                                           as body moves with uniform speed so                                                                             f=mgsinθ ,
as friction force not passes through the centre it produce torque of magnitude =           (1/2)*(mgsinθ ).                                                                                                            to overcome thise torque normal reaction reaction does not passes through the centre and  the produce a torque of (1/2)*(mgsinθ ).

A cubical block of mass m and edge a slides down a rough inclined plane of inclination θ with a uniform speed. Find the torque of the normal force acting on the block about its center.? Ask for ... R and mg.cosθ passing by the cube centre, hence no torque will be working, only torque is produced by mg.sinθ.
