Let the total distance be 12 x .For first one third of the distance that is 4x. 4x ÷10= time for the first one third distance similarly second for one fourth distance the time is 3 X divide by 20 and for the third remaining part time is 5 x divide by 40 and the average speed is 12 x divide by 27 x multiply with 40 give 1600 / 9
