can you please explain me the terms stable ,unstable ,&neutral equillibruim

Dear kushal

Stable Equilibrium : If displaced from the position of stable equilibrium...object having tendency to come back to its position...

example...simple pendulum...mean position is its stable equilibrium...

Unstable : If displaced once then no tendency to come back rather continue to move away from position of unstable equilibrium..


Neutral equilibrium...if displaced from position again stays in equilibrium in its new position...
