sir how you find friction direction as there is rolling also so there is rolling friction also  in the below  question which is replied by you sir

there is no external torque is acting on the cone. and if friction force acting in the tangential direction then it reduce the velocity and so angular velocity is also reduces ,but it is given that angular velocity is constant.so no frictional force is acting in the tangential direction .only in the radial direction friction force is acting.
