IN BOOKS LIKE SL LONEY AND HALL AND KNIGHT IT IS WRITTEN THAT SOME TOPICS SHOULD BE RESERVED FOR SECOND READING. WHAT DOES THIS MEANS ? DOES ALL THE CONTENTS OF THE BOOK ARE IN JEE ADVANCE SYALLABUS OR THESE BOOK CONTAINS SOME EXCESS CHAPTER WHICH ARE NOT IN JEE SYLLABUS.

Hello Student,

Not all the chapters are in JEE Advance syllabus. This books can be used for specific topics only. Like Hall and knight for P & C, Probablity and algebra and Loney for coordinate geometry and Trigonometry. Not all concepts written there are present in JEE syllabus. So once go thru the syllabus and study only specific topics or exercises. For more guidance you can consult your faculties where ever u are taking coaching
