I have got 10,715 rank in JEE Advance 2014. Can i get any IIT at this rank. I have got 15,063 rank in JEE Main 2014. I have few Query Should i prefer branch or college? Should i prefer good branch in NIT or some new IIT? I am fresher , should i drop this year or take best option which i get. Should i take Production or Chemical at NIT,Allahabad? Is 5 year Dual Course good or not? please reply waiting for ur reply Somit Mittal

The closing rank for IITs last time around was around 7500. So its better you go for a college in JEE Main counselling. Your preference should be a mix of both branch and college.Drop should be only considered when you have no other choice or you have too much craze about getting into IITs.If its not either one of these, then you should not consider taking a drop.Production is better than Chemical at NIT Allahabad.5 year Dual Course are obviously good both in context of job scenario and higher studies.
