u must do large amount of questions while keeping timer set for each bunch of questions depends on subject and level of questions
dont spend more time on questions that creeates problem to u during revision test do it when u have attemted all the questions this is also a good technique to increase ur speed

approaching any problematic subject:
Dont try to complete all theory part … generally students think to finish inch by inch of theory and derivations before starting problems but they fed up in mid way...
1.go throgh synopsis , basic formulae and fundamental terms.
2.take one standard text book and try to solve eample questions.. if you come across with any new terms or formulas , now refer that particular area to be strong in that
3.Now solve other text book examples.
4.Now once go throgh concepts , formulae and prepare a key notes about topic
5.Now solve excercise.
6.Defnetly  you will get doubts .Now approach your faculty or  “askiitians” to clarify the doubts
