Hi, Our son is in 7 th ​Std ICSE and does well in school and does well in SOF IMO Olympiads too. How relevant is to start preparing for a JEE Main / Advanced exam at this Standard?

dear jagdish 
yes , you can start but only besics , no advanced concept . 
go with mtg foundation for iitjee / trishna foundation for iitjee , and tell him to practice from that and keep his maths and science strong . 
and most imp – teach him , not to cram anything , understand thing by concept . 
donot put much pressure , just a startup .

Thanks very much Umakanth. The books from MTG andTrishna Knowledge systems seem good. On the internet I have seen companies like Byju's, Askiitians have courses from 6th, 7th ​standard onwards itself to help prepare students for JEE exams. Are Allen's and Akash also into this from lower standards? Any feedback, suggestions on the same would be helpful too.

yes , allen and aakash have pre nurture course , so, donot go with aakash , they are good for medical , not for jee . 
for jee , go with allen or else fiitjee . and resonance is also good . 
and askiitians , if u have strong bandwidth connection and your child is comfortable with laptop , then only choose it , else not .
