The velocity with which the b elephant moves is 15m/s.This is because the velocity with which the mid elephant should be more than the other two as it is able to cope up with the elephant in the lead while leaving behind the last elephant behind at a huge gap.

Initial separation between a and c 2d now it becomes 3d = displacement = d relative velocity of c with respect to a is 5 m/s which emplies time = d/5. Now relative velocity of b with respect to c is u -10 m/s the relative distance = d time would Same that is d/5=d/(u-10) 
From here u = 15 m/s
