First statement seems true but scond not.
As the accleration would genrate due to the force.
and that force can be an internal force too say friction force or any other force that would accelrate the object.
Henc ethe Newton’s second law that is F =ma would be still applicable there..

Both are false.Because for applying the newtons second law of motion there is no concetual distinction between inanimate and animate objects.An animate object such as human also requires an external force to accelerate.
