the 2kg body which is hanging down will go downwards so the accelaration for the equation for the body will be:
 
mg – T = ma, here m =2kg.
 
For the body on the horizontal surface,
 
T = ma
 
Solve these two and you’ll get the answer :) let me know if you need help :)

Please type the question completely and not in the form of image else it will not be useful for those students who will be searching question of this type on google. However, you can attach diagrams of the question, if any.
 
@Neeti, try to post answer of different users so that other students can also get benefit from your knowledge. Giving answers to one user only is not good practice on forum. You can answer as many questions of Ananya as possible alongwith other users. This is clearly written in terms and conditions of forum policy as well which can be seen by clicking on the link given below:

I think there’s something wrong with your system because i’ve been clearing doubts of not just this particular student but of most students who posted the questions on your forum. 
It sadly isn’t my fault that you can’t detect the number of answers i have been posting and also the students whose doubts i’ve been clearing.

We did not deduct your points deliberately. It is the system that removes all multiple approvals to one user in one question automatically every day. Thats why we discourage answer to multiple questions in one thread. Every new question should be posted separately only so that answerer can get approval for each and every question separately. Since you answered almost 15-20 questions of Ananya in same thread, you lost your points and only one approval is left in that question. You can check the same by clicking on the link given below:
