				   why does the water in a jar not rise even when an ice cube put in it melts?

6 years ago

Answers : (1)

										the water in a jar does not rise as compared to its configuration as it was when the ice was not melted.

it is so because, the water was already displaced according to the archimedes principle to mae the ice float on it.

moreover the density of ice is less than that os water because, ice is not PURE. it has air inside it.

A car initially at rest starts moving on a straight line with constant acceleration and attains speed of 16m/s in time t s.Average speed of the car in this time interval is
From first law of equation, v = u + at 16 = 0 + at a = 16/t m/s^2 Distance covered in t seconds, s = 0 + 0.5*16/t * t^2 => 8t meter. Average speed = tota distance / total time => 8t/t = > 8 ...

Why does the car with flattened tyre stop sooner than the one with inflated tyres?
dear hanuma, Flattened tyre has more area of contact with the road. Hence rolling friction increases and there by a car with flattened tyre stops sooner.
