Dear Friend, I don’t think that there is much hope for you to get a seat at NITs and as far as your category is concerned, perhaps you may get an opportunity during the counselling rounds based on category ranks but by that time  instead of wasting your precious time you must carry out a virtual tour by visiting the official websites of certain reputed private colleges and universities where the students get quality education and assured placements, you may consider these names – Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani,....................Lovely Professional University, Phagwara,..........................Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University, Jhun jhunu,...................BHU, Varanasi,.................DTU, Delhi etc.

there is a slight possibility that you might get into a NIT but i dont think you will get the desired branch ….still ...ALL THE BEST
