Hi,

Formulate a quadratic in x and find value of x by using whole square formula. (-b+-root(b^2...........)

Now u got values of x in terms of y. Look at the term inside the root. U ll find that the expression inside the root is always negetive for any value of y).

Hence we can conclude that there is no pair of x, y that will satisfy this expression.
