The JEE or Joint Entrance Examination is conducted every year to enable students to get admission into IITs, IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs. It comprises two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

July 11, 2022: JEE Main 2022 session 2 application forms are reopened again. The last date for filling out the JEE Main 2022 Session 2 application form is 12 July 2022.
July 11, 2022: JEE Main 2022 Toppers were announced by NTA.
July 10, 2022: JEE Main 2022 Result for Session was declared for session 1. You can download the results by logging in to the JEE Main NTA website.
July 1, 2022: JEE Main 2022 form correction facility started for session 2 application forms. Any candidate who wants to get their particulars corrected can apply for the same.
July 1, 2022: NTA announced that JEE Main 2022 Application form for session 2 will reopen after the declaration of session 1 results.
July 1, 2022: JEE Main 2022 Answer Key session 1 will be released by NTA on July 6, 2022.
June 22, 2022: NTA released the exam advisory and instructions for the JEE Main 2022 June Exam candidates.
June 21, 2022: NTA released the JEE Main 2022 Admit card.
June 14, 2022: NTA revised the JEE Main 2022 Session 1 Exam Dates. Session 1 dates were revised once again. Session 1 was earlier to be conducted on 20 June 2022 but was changed to June 23, 2022.
June 14, 2022: JEE Main Exam City Allotment announced by NTA.
June 1, 2022: Good news for students who want to appear in JEE Main 2022 Session 2. NTA released the JEE Main 2022 Session 2 Application forms released. You can apply at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
May 23, 2022: NTA was to release the application forms for JEE Main 2022 Session 2 in the third week of May but they are now expected to be scheduled in July 2022.
April 18, 2022: Students who want to appear in JEE Main 2022 Session 1 can still apply! NTA has reopened the registrations until April 25, 2022.
April 7, 2022: NTA has revised the JEE Main 2022 Session 1 and Session 2 dates. Earlier Session 1 was to be held in April and Session 2 was to be held in May. Now Session 1 will be held in June and Session 2 will be held in July.
April 6, 2022: Those who want to edit their details in the application form can do it from April 6 to April 8.

JEE Main 2022 will be conducted in two sessions. The first session will be conducted in June on dates: 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th & 29th of June 2022, and the second session will be conducted in July on dates: 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th & 30th July 2022.
No, NTA has decided to conduct JEE Main twice in 2022 and 2023. So, there will be only two sessions of JEE Main this year.
