 Expert Review

Lines of Appreciations (Why should I buy this book?)

Mastering Organic Chemistry requires a thorough understanding of fundamentals and the ability to use these fundamentals. This book is a perfect blend of concept clarity and its application.

Part 2 and Part 3 have been presented exceptionally well. Part 2 deals with Hydrocarbons, Steceo Chemistry and Resonance. Part 3 deals with Substitution and Elimination Reactions, covers the fundamental aspect , which is, the Mechanism. The key terms, summary and glossary at the end of each chapter provides great study aid.

Room for improvements (Why should I keep away from this book?)

The book has been written keeping in mind the PG students of USA, so students need to be thorough with JEE syllabus and accordingly overlook the Chapters which are not useful.

Fortunately, authors like Madam Bruice could really make beginners' learn Organic Chemistry with so much ease. It is the best book for IIT-JEE preparation.

according to me this buk is quite gud but totally nt meant fr iit its jst waste of money as for iit point of view we need to solve more and more questions bt this buk contains all theory and that too in very depth knowledge. its an university buk. can only be used to jst refer which can evn be done online easily. i myself bought this buk bt its nt required i now realize as i hardly read it.. if u want to practise more and more ques. then i would suggest pearson guide to organic chemistry by atul singhal and can also buy inorganic. i bought these buks for me and got through iit so guys that is y i am saying paula bruise books are nt meant fr iit as urself u can see its a foreign author books so nt fr iit
