Top 5 Indian Universities on the Asia’s Top-300 List

According to a recent survey conducted to find out the best Universities from Asia, 10 hallowed academic institutions from India have made it to the list of Asia’s top 300.
We have brought the top 5 Indian Universities on the list. So just check out these top Indian Universities on the list one after one:
IIT-Roorkee
No list on academics is complete without mention of IITs and so is the story in the Asia’s Top 300 2014. Indian University topping the list is IIT-Roorkee, which has been ranked 70 on the list. IIT-Roorkee was ranked 66 last year in 2013.
University of Delhi
Second Indian University to have made it to the list is University of Delhi. The University has been ranked 81 on the list. However, the University has come one notch down since last year in 2013 when the University of Delhi was ranked 80 in the Asia’s Top 300 list.
IIT-Guwahati
3rd on the list is again the hallowed Indian Institute of Technology from Guwahati, which has been ranked at 95 on the list this year. However, the institution too has seen a downfall from the last year. IIT-Guwahati was ranked 89 last year in 2013.
University of Calcutta
Next on the list is University of Calcutta with rank 131. University of Calcutta has improved its ranking from last year. University of Calcutta was ranked 143 on the list in 2013.
University of Mumbai
University of Mumbai also features at 131st position on the list. The university was ranked 140 last year, which shows the university has improved its ranking drastically.
