Engineering aspirants who are dreaming to join IITs or NITs have to appear for JEE Main 2015 first. While JEE Main 2015 application form submission deadline is already over (on December 26, 2014), students can now edit any errors they might have made while filling up the application forms.

The correction to JEE Main application forms can be done from January 19 to January 31, 2015. After January 31, no changes in the application forms will be allowed in any case.

The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) conducts the JEE Mains 2015 for admission to all the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and IIITs. The JEE Main exam is also the first step for IIT admissions as it is the eligibility test for JEE Advanced 2015.

Candidates are advised to check all the details, choices and parameters in the printout of the online IIT JEE Main application form carefully and correct any discrepancies till January 31, 2015. For certain changes (like change of category), additional fee may need to be paid through credit card or debit card or through e-challans payable at Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.

Students appearing for Class 12 board exams in 2015 for the first time or for improvement exams need to fill up their Class 12 roll number is the relevant column.

You can change your photograph, scanned images of your thumb impression and signature, or year of clearing Class 10 or the qualifying exam. For changes that do not require you to pay additional fee, details will be updated immediately.

Also note that you are not allowed to change your exam city and the mode of exam (computer based or pen & paper based) now.

You can only make corrections in the application form once. This is the last and final chance for the candidates to make any corrections, so aspirants should make the changes very carefully.
