JEE Main is conducted multiple times a year in different sessions. For example, in 2024, the exam was conducted in two sessions: the first session took place in January, and the second session was held in April. The exact dates can vary each year. Students must fill out a separate application form for each session they wish to appear in.

Earlier, JEE Main exams used to be conducted in April and May, but recently, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced multiple sessions throughout the year to give students more flexibility.

Online Application Form for JEE Main 2025

Every candidate has to register themselves for the examination session by filling an online application form. According to the latest update on JEE Main 2025, the application forms will be released for multiple sessions within the year, allowing candidates to appear in more than one session to improve their scores.

How to fill JEE Online Application Form 2025?

Step 1: Registration Process

First, you need to fill out the registration form for JEE Main 2022. Here’s how you can do it.

Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Click on apply for JEE Main 2025.
Click on New Registration.
Read the instructions carefully and click on the checkbox once you are done.
Add details in the registration form like date of birth, email id, phone number, nationality, gender, etc.
Verify your email id and phone number. Once verified, you cannot change them.
Submit the registration form.
You will get an application number that will be used for the further process.

Step 2: Filling Application Form

So, you have your application number. Now, it is time to complete the application process. In the application form, you have to fill your:

Personal details like nationality, gender, category, minority status, date of birth, etc.
Details of your Class 10 and Class 12 like percentage, year of qualification, exam code, etc.
Other details like Adhar number, parents’ details, family income, etc.

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Documents

After successful filling out the application form, students have to upload documents such as:

Photograph,
Signature,
Class 12 Marksheet.

You must ensure that your face is completely visible in the photograph. The photo should have a white background. Given below are the specifications required for submission of scanned documents:

Step 4: Paying Application Fee

The last step of the application process is the payment of the application fees. You have to pay this fee online via net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI payments. You must note that UPI payment will not cost any extra charges while paying through credit or debit card will cost you an additional fee. Once the payment is made, you have to download the confirmation page. This payment is non-refundable.

In the end, you must download the confirmation page of the application submission for future use.

Is aadhaar card necessary for all candidates in India?

No, aadhaar card is not mandatory. You can also provide passport details, ration card number, bank account number, or any other valid government identification.
