AIPMT 2015- CBSE Releases AIPMT 2015 Exam Date | askIITians

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination – 2015 (AIPMT 2015) exam date. The examination will be conducted on May 3, 2015. However, the exam dates for Jammu and Kashmir & Andhra Pradesh are yet to be announced.  The CBSE AIPMT registration process is expected to start in December.

AIPMT examination will be conducted under 15% merit of All India Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges all over India. There are around 2200 MBBS and 300 BDS seats at 130 government medical and 30 dental colleges of India.

Eligibility for AIPMT

  • The applicant must be at least 17 years old on December 31, 2014 to be eligible for the exam.
  • The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15 per cent All India Quota Seats is 25 years as on December 31, 2015. However, there are 5 years age relaxations for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes
  • Those applicants who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English and have scored 50% marks in their class 12 board exams are eligible for the AIPMT exam.

Exam Pattern

The pattern of AIPMT exam is quite simple. The examination is based on the syllabus as prescribed by CBSE. The AIPMT 2015 aspirants will be required to answer 180 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry Zoology and Botany subjects. There will be “one” negative marking for every wrong answer in the AIPMT examination.

AIPMT 2015 Application Procedure
