And, as soon as the results are out the toppers are no way less than a celebrity, thanks to the print and social media!We did quite a research to find what these toppers are doing presently who were once in the JEE topper list.

He feels to have an inclination for research and would prefer it over a corporate job, let us hope best for him!Update:After spending a year at IIT Bombay pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science, he is now keen to quit IIT and pursue Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he has got admission with scholarship.
2013 Pallerla Saisandeep Reddy IIT Bombay The topper of the year 2013 is willing to join Robotics post completing the B.Tech
2012 Arpit Agrawal IIT Delhi Working with Google India after scoring rank 122 in the Google APAC
2011 Immadi Prudhvi Tej IIT Bombay He not only topped IIT JEE in 2011, but was also 7th rank holder in AIEEE, presently staying at Hyderabad.
2010 Anumula Jithendar Reddy IIT Bombay As per his LinkedIn profile, he has completed his internship from QEA Eduventures.
2009 Nitin Jain IIT Delhi As per his Facebook profile, he is presently residing at Dublin, Ireland. He did his internship from Zomato
2008 Shitikanth IIT Kanpur Born at Patna, Bihar and presently residing at Waterloo, Ontario, Shitikant is working for Laboratoire d’Informatique Algorithmique Fondements et Applications as Research Assistant
2007 Achin Bansal IIT Bombay Presently working for Morgan Stanley, residing at Mumbai.
2006 Raghu Mahajan IIT Delhi As per his Twitter account he is presently doing PhD in Theoretical Physics
2005 Piyush Srivastava IIT Kanpur Piyush is presently a Postdoctoral Scholar at Caltech. Befor that he completed his PG from UC Berkeley.
2004 Sushant Sachdeva IIT Bombay Presently he is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Department of Computer Science at Yale University. Prior he did research internships at Toyota, Microsoft and ETH Zurich. Also he has published several research papers in prestigious conferences across the world.
2003 Shashank S. Dwivedi IIT Bombay (We tried enough to reach out Shashank’s present status bit failed as he is unavailable on internet and social media)
2002 Dungra Ram Chowdhary IIT Kanpur Earlierd words for AirTight Networks, presently working at Oracle as a Principal Member of Technical Staff.
2001 Arvind Thiagarajan IIT Madras Completed internships from Google and Yahoo along with PhD from MIT.Arvind also has 42 patents in his name registered and has founded a company in 2011 for mobile computing. He is presently working as a research scientist for Amazon
2000 Nitin Gupta IIT Kanpur Nitin joined the IIT Kanpur in 2014 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences. He also wishes to have a set up in cognitive neuroscience lab at IITK.
