Due to Elections, CBSE releases a new CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet!New Delhi: The Election Commission has announced the dates for General Elections, 2014. General Elections will be conducted in nine phases:

•    Phase 1 will be conducted on April 7, 2014.
•    Phase 2 will be conducted on April 9, 2014.
•    Phase 3 will be conducted on April 10, 2014.
•    Phase 4 will be conducted on April 12, 2014.
•    Phase 5 will be conducted on April 17, 2014.
•    Phase 6 will be conducted on April 24, 2014.
•    Phase 7 will be conducted on April 30, 2014.
•    Phase 8 will be conducted on May 7, 2014.
•    Phase 9 will be conducted on May 12, 2014.

Some of these dates had been clashing with the exam dates of the CBSE Senior School Certificate (Class XII) Examination, 2014. These dates were: April 9, 10, 12 and 17. Hence, CBSE board exam has been rescheduled for subject exams to be held on these dates.
