Pars nervosa doesn’t synthesise any hormone. Its function is to store and release Vasopressin (Anti diuretic Hormone) and oxytocin into blood. Remember that these two hormones are synthesized by hypothalamus gland.

The previous answer is wrong. Pitocin & vasopressin are produced by neurohypophysis or posterior gland of pituitary or pars nervosa. Other name of pitocin is oxytocin

Pituitary gland is divided anatomically into adenohypophysis and neurohypophysis.neurohypophysis or pars nervous stores and release two hormones oxytocin and vasopressin but actually they are synthesised by hypothalamus
