Dear student,

We just have to find the vector sum of the three magnetic moments.
The two lying in horizontal plane have resultant’s magnitude equal to $\sqrt{3}M$ .
This vector is in the same plane, and so it forms angle $90^{\circ}$ with the other vector. Hence net magnetic moment=2M
