As in both cases for stable $\Theta =0$ (in degrees), for unstable $\Theta =180$ .

$sin\Theta =0,$

in stable dipole align’s along the direction of electric field so $\Theta =0$

in unstable dipole align’s opposite to the direction of electric field so $\Theta =180$ .

Hence torque acting on both cases=0 Nm.
