Electric Field due to line charge   
Ex=(lembda/4pie apsilon not× d)×(Sinalpha+Sinbeeta)
Ey=(lembda/4pie apsilon not ×d)×(Cosbeeta−Cosalpha)
Direction of field from X-axis=Ey/Ex
Direction of field from Y-axis =Ex/Ey
