Calculate electric field at equitorial position ‘d’, then calculate net force exp by third point charge..
You will get a mathematical equation, then you differentiate the eqn w.r.t. d and put it equal to zero...
then find the value of d..............

A third point charge placed on the perpendicular bisector at a distance 'd' from the centre. Let charge on each particle is q and charge on third particle is Q. but only y = R/22 , d²F/dy² force will be maximum. so, at y = R/22 electrostatic force will be maximum.
