the electrostatic potential difference between points A and  B which are at distances 2.0 m and 1.0 m respectively from an infinitely long thin wire; linear charge density = 1.0 micro coulomb.

Potential difference between two points due to infinity long wire is given by V = 2k$\lambda$ln(r1/r2)
V = 2*9*109*1*10-6*ln(1/2)
V = 1.8*104*ln(1/2).
Hope it clears.
