The charge of a particle is a true characterstics of the particle, independent of its state of motion. Explain how you can test this statement by making a rigorous experimental check of whether the hydrogen atom is truly electrically neutral.

Dear Faraz

actually hydrogen element will not exist aloof. It gets combined with another hydrogen atom by forming covalent bond and becoming hydrogen molecule. This is hydrogen gas.
But at the time of the birth of hydrogen when a metal reacts with sulphuric acid, it is named as Nascent hydrogen. Having only one electron in the orbit it is so vigorous to react with any one. But soon hydrogen molecule is formed and it becomes less vigorous.
When electricity is passed through hydrogen gas, these hydrogen molecule get split into hydrogen atom and so they emit line spectrum. Usually molecules such as CO2, NH3 would give out only band spectrum but hydrogen H2 will not emit so.
So many different experiments conclude that protons positively charged particles are well packed within nucleus and electrons very very less massive go around the nucleus with negative charge.
