YOU NEED TO REVISE KIRCHOFF LAWS THOROUGHLY BEFORE SOLVING THIS QUESTION .
let above junction be C and lower be D and c denote capacitance.
let a battery of V volt be connected across junction A and B.
( with A connected to +terminal and B connected to – terminal)
let charge q flow through the battery .
let current q1 flow through AD then current q-q1 will flow through AC ( by kirchoff current law ) .
as c across AC= c across DBso charge across DB is q-q1.
as c across ad = c across CBso current across CB is q1.
by kirchoff current law , charge across CD will be q-2q1.
be applying kirchoff loop law in loop ACDA
=> -q/2 -(q-2q1)/4 +q1/4 =0
=>q1 = 3q/2

in loop ADBA
q1 / 4 + (q-q1)/2 = V
by putting q1=3q/2
V = q/8
equivalent c = q/V = 8mF
