Is solid angle is in the syllabus of jee for both mains and advanced.

yes , its in the main syllabus , but not in advanced syllabus directly . 
but as its a angle subtended by cone , then advanced might ask a combined conceptual question on this by combining the chapter conic section and 3d geometry . 
so, better read it , its their in jee main syllabus , but this year advanced didnot include this .
