Potential diference across 4 microfarad capacitor = 6v
charge on 4 microfarad capacitor = 24 microcolumb.
now equivalent capacitance of above three capacitor = 2.1 microfarad
charge on 3 microfarad capacitor = 12.6 microcolumb
12.6 microfarad charge is distributed in 2 and 5 microfarad capacitors in the ratio of 2:5
so charge on 5 microfarad capacitor = 12.6/7 x 5 = 9 microcolumb ..
Now ratio of charge = 9/24 …........

Now ratio of charge = 9/24 = 3:8
Thanks, hope it helps.

Dear Student,
Please find below the solution to your problem.

Potential diference across 4 microfarad capacitor = 6v
charge on 4 microfarad capacitor = 24 microcolumb.
now equivalent capacitance of above three capacitor = 2.1 microfarad
charge on 3 microfarad capacitor = 12.6 microcolumb
12.6 microfarad charge is distributed in 2 and 5 microfarad capacitors in the ratio of 2:5
so charge on 5 microfarad capacitor = 12.6/7 x 5 = 9 * 10-6C
Now ratio of charge = 9/24 = 3:8
Thanks and Regards
