the derivation of electrostatics are usually based on assumption . as u need to know the correct position of charged particle and the coordinate system .
steps of learning derivation
1- read the derivation statement twice .
2- write what u need to proov and to end up with final conclusion .
3- draw the diagrams .
4- remember of the relation or equation u have studied before ,
5- apply that and formulate an new equation , thats it .
USE ALL IN ONE , THEY ARE PRECISE AT ITS LEVEL .
MAIN FOCUS AREA OF ELECTROSTATICS .
1- GAUSS LAW ( 3 CASES ) – VVIMP .
2- WORK DONE BY CHARGE PARTICLE IN SPACE ,
3- DIELECTRICS INSERTED BETWEEN THE CAPACIRTOR PLATE – VVIMP
4- PARALLEL PLATE CAPACITOR IN NORMAL – IMP
5- FINDING THE EQUATION WHEN CHARGHED PARTICLE WILL COMBINE AT A SPACE .
THESE 5 are very very imp catagory of electrostatics , dereivation , some other are there but not that imp .
board can also ask u a question based on series and paralklel config of capacitor , config of dielectrics ,
and the property of equipotential surface .
so, mainly focus on these area .
