Dear Raju The required voltage is 1000 volt and the capacitors are labelled as 250 V . So no. of capacitors required will be 4 i.e. 250×4=1000 in series. Now Ceq of 4 capacitors in series will be equal to 2 micro farad. But the equievalent capacitance required is given as 16 microfarad. So there must be 8 series of parallel arranged capacitors each of capacitance 2 microfarad. Hence total no. of capacitors is 4×8 =32
