Now Ceq of 4 capacitors in series will be equal to 2 micro farad. But the equievalent capacitance required is given as 16 microfarad. So there must be 8 series of parallel arranged capacitors each of capacitance 2 microfarad. Hence total no. of capacitors is 4×8 =32
