2 is parallel with 2 so equivalent is 4
now 4 is in series with 8 so equivalent is 8/3
12 is in series with 6 so equivalent is 4
now 4 is parallel with 4 so equivalent is 8
now 8 is in series with 1 so equivalent is 8/9
now 8/9 is parallel with 8/3 so equivalent is 32/9
now 32/9 is in series with C 
so
32C/(32+9C) = 1
then 32C = 32 + 9C
23C = 32
So C = 32/23\mu F
