In the attachment the electric foeld is being calculateed for the given conic/curve section.
Now to find the particular magnetic field point where it is going to give the maximum value of magnetic foeld we need to differentiate it and equate it to zero for the proper soln.
And at that point putting in field eqn. we get the maximum vale.
.
This is the simple maxima – minima method to find the soln. perhaps!!
