Can you explain the vector sum in superposition of forces?

 if you know little about the vectors then you can continue reading because it is just addition of a number of vectors (magnitude+dirction)
 NOTE: direction play an important role in vectors 
DEFINITION: when a number of bodies are interacting, mean, they are exerting the force on each other, then the total force on a given body is the vector sum of the forces exerted on it by all the other bodies (that are exerting force on given body ) individually
