A 3x10 -6 F capacitor is charged to a potential of 300 V and a 2 x10 -6 F capacitor is charged to 200 V. The capacitors are then connected in parallel with plates of opposite polarity joined together. What amount of charge will flow when the plates are so connected?

first of all calculate the initial charges on each capacitor(suppose q1 and q2)
then when they are connected together so charge will flow till they are at same potential.
let q be charge flown.
so, q1 – q = q2 + q
         c1          c2
